Payment methods
We do not accept payment by cheque. We accept payment by all major cards. We do not ask for payment until we have checked that all the goods on your shopping list have been validated. Your payment details are automatically encrypted when you enter them, ensuring the highest level of security at all times.
The transaction appears on your credit / debit card statement in your card account currency and will be itemised as ‘Kielder Computers Ltd’ or ‘Improvability Supplies’ (for colour supplies only).
Pricing Information
All information including prices are correct at the time of publishing. Kielder Computers Limited is a UK-based business. All prices quoted are in Great British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are quoted exclusive of VAT sales tax unless stated otherwise.
Value Added Tax (VAT)
VAT sales tax is calculated, itemised and automatically added at the checkout according to UK tax rules. The sales tax is calculated and added before final payment is requested. A VAT invoice is available on request.
Customs Taxes
Customers outside the UK may be liable for import tax. These are duties levied by your own government’s Customs office. Contact your local Customs Tax Office for details prior to purchase.
Currency Conversion
Where we offer a currency conversion facility, care has been taken in making available and maintaining the Currency Conversion Rates displayed, however such conversion rates are estimates only of currency conversions that may apply to a transaction. These rates are provided for information purposes only without express or implied warranty. The Currency Conversion Rates should not be relied upon as actual currency conversion rates that may be applied to any particular transaction as such rates will frequently fluctuate over time and vary between financial providers.
Shipping Information
We will dispatch your order as soon as possible. Dispatch will normally be within 2 working days of receipt of your cleared payment. We use a number of couriers and mail services including UPS, FedEx, TNT, DHL, City Link, USPS and Royal Mail. The courier or postal service we choose may vary. However for high value items we may choose to use a secure sign-for delivery service with online tracking for which a proof of delivery signature maybe required.
Goods are shipped when payment has been received from your card issuing bank. Card payments are normally cleared and received within 3 to 5 working days.
If you have chosen a product payment instalment plan option, your goods will be shipped when the initial payment has been cleared by your card issuing bank and the payment plan agreement has been successfully created.
Shipping costs (if applicable) are calculated according to the physical weight and value of the goods and the country of delivery. Shipping costs are itemised and added before final payment is requested. Please see additional terms for Colour Supplies*.
Despatch and Delivery
When you purchase, items may be packed and shipped by multiple separate warehousing. Colour supplies* are shipped directly from the manufacturer here in the UK.
Customs Delays
Our delivery time estimates are based on uninterrupted delivery service between the date of despatch from the supplier and delivery to your door. This does not include the additional time required by your own country’s Customs department to process and clear your parcel for onward delivery.

* Definitions: the term ‘colour supplies’ defines drapes, capes, fans, wallets, wheels, and printed cards, and other items sold in our colour supplies catalogue, and excludes such items as training packages and online resources.

DESPATCH and DELIVERY
Our delivery estimates below are based on uninterrupted postal or courier service between the date of despatch from the supplier and delivery to your door.
UK deliveries
- Orders under GBP 150.00 (net product total, not including shipping) despatched by Royal Mail 24 Tracked. You should receive these within 2 to 5 working days of despatch.
- Orders over GBP 150.00 (net product total, not including shipping), despatched by signed-for courier service. You should receive these within 1 to 2 working days of despatch.
International deliveries to Europe
(OUTSIDE THE UK)
- Orders under GBP 150.00 (net product total, not including shipping) despatched Royal Mail International Tracked. You should receive these within 5 to 7 working days of despatch.
- Orders over GBP 150.00 (net product total, not including shipping), despatched by signed-for courier service. You should receive these within 2 to 5 working days of despatch.
International deliveries to THE REST OF THE WORLD
- Orders under GBP 150.00 (net product total, not including shipping) despatched Royal Mail International Tracked. You should receive these within 7 to 14 working days of despatch.
- Orders over GBP 150.00 (net product total, not including shipping), despatched by signed-for courier service. You should receive these within 5 to 10 working days of despatch.
Availability
Despatch times may vary from those quoted above depending on stock availability but we will notify you by email should there be any delays. Goods are despatched Monday to Friday, excluding England and Wales Bank Holidays. In-stock colour supplies are despatched after receipt of cleared funds but please note that:
- Seasonal and tonal capes and cover-up capes
are made to order. You will be notified if there are despatch delays
SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated according to the value of the goods and the country of delivery. Shipping costs are itemised and added to the order total before final payment is requested.

We try to make sure we only show items on the site if they are currently available. If you place an order for something which isn’t available we will contact you by email as soon as possible after you place your order. All orders are subject to availability.
Security
We use a “secure” server so your credit card information is protected. We do not hold your payment details on file. Once we have processed your order we erase your card information. This increases our security – if we do not have this information, it cannot be read by anyone else. Visit the security page for more information.
